An absurd, print-based project functioning as a low-tech approach to studying the energy changes of heat and stress within unannealed objects of the blown glass process.

One cup subject of specific design was created on 3 separate occasions. After completion, the cup was placed hot onto paper in different orientations (right-side up, upside down, and sideways).  As the cup rapidly cooled down, it would stress and deconstruct itself.  The question was one of wondering if the deconstruction could be mapped through the burnt marks made by what broken glass parts fell onto the paper and when (based on what heat was still held within them).
