A collaborative video experiment with both Corning Incorporated and The Studio at The Corning Museum of Glass where a cup specimen’s (un)doing was recorded when exposed to 2300 F for 10 minutes. This study is of a cup specimen undergoing this temperature when placed in a kiln right side up. A 70-minute process plays back in this video 6 times faster than it was recorded (roughly 12 minutes).
