Examining the choreography of a cup’s (un)doing by emulating a photographic time-lapse experience of its collapsing.
The collapsing was conducted in a series of firings that held the cup within a kiln at 1125 F for 15 minutes. A photograph was taken of the test subject after its firing, was put back into the kiln, and underwent another firing. Firings persisted until the cup was fully collapsed.
